

Maybe I'll change my mind in the next few weeks, maybe not. That fish eye, stretched, whatever you want to call it feeling is REALLY there when you're looking at the edges of the screen in a lot of games. All of this isn't even getting to how 32:9 is really not anywhere near an actual "supported" resolution in games right now where at least 21:9 is becoming much more manageable. I had a spot on the far left side of the screen the first day I had it (which went away,) the HDR was horrible out of the box and required messing with multiple settings to make it look acceptable (and yet still not as good somehow as the "HDR400" on the 38" LG,) and now I have a stuck pixel right in the middle of the screen. The ASUS has much better ergonomics, supports G-SYNC, and has a black frame insertion. I've just had too many things come up on the G9 and this is without whatever the "recall" situation is. The ASUS ROG Swift PG279Q is slightly better than the LG 27GL83A-B. Right now I'm leaning towards returning the G9 for the 38GN950-B, assuming I can actually find it sometime soon.
